Pedro Albizu Campos Digital Resource Collection
The Pedro Albizu Campos Digital Resource Collection (PAC-DRC), is a collection of primary source documents belonging to Albizu and physically located at the Ponce Municipal Government Archives and Harvard University. It contains his archival documents from Ponce High School, The University of Vermont, Harvard College, and Harvard Law School. The archival documents were directly and contextually researched, cataloged by Dr. Daniel Ibarrondo Cruz. The collection provides valuable research information for students, teachers, university professors, scholars, and historians. It is available at OER Commons here, the PAC-DRC website, and the Biblioteca Virtual de Puerto Rico here.

The Evolution of Pedro Albizu Campos 1912 and 1917 Essays, is an introductory primer to rethinking a young Albizu when he was a Harvard University student. Through his own words, his archival documents, he explains his viewpoint on U.S.-PR relations as his viewpoint evolves. The primer compares his 1912 and 1917 essays, "Porto Rico Through a Transition" and his 1917 essay "Porto Rico and the War." The 1912 essay, read at his Ponce High School graduation, was missing for more than a hundred years. Dr. Ibarrondo Cruz discovered it in 2022. The primer is a case study on decolonization as Albizu evolves from his Ponce High School thoughts to his Harvard Law School viewpoints. The U.S. colonial government in Puerto Rico sent 45 Puerto Rican students every year to study in the U.S. to become "Americanized." It taught Albizu something else, the contradictions of democracy, independence, self-determination, and liberty as practiced in the U.S. and proclaimed to be in Puerto Rico.
La evolución de Pedro Albizu Campos: ensayos de 1912 y 1917 es un texto introductorio que invita a repensar al joven Albizu cuando era estudiante en la Universidad de Harvard. A través de sus propias palabras, plasmadas en documentos de archivo, explica su perspectiva sobre las relaciones entre Estados Unidos y Puerto Rico a medida que el punto de vista de Albizu evoluciona. El texto introductorio compara sus ensayos de 1912 y 1917, "Porto Rico Through a Transition" (Porto Rico a través de una transición) y su ensayo de 1917 "Porto Rico and the War" (Porto Rico y la guerra). El ensayo de 1912, leído en su graduación de la Escuela Superior de Ponce, estuvo desaparecido por más de cien años. El Dr. Ibarrondo Cruz lo descubrió en 2022. El texto introductorio es un estudio de caso sobre la descolonización, a medida que Albizu evoluciona desde sus ideas en la Escuela Superior de Ponce hasta sus perspectivas en la Escuela de Derecho de Harvard. El gobierno colonial estadounidense en Puerto Rico enviaba cada año a 45 estudiantes puertorriqueños a estudiar en Estados Unidos para "americanizarlos." A Albizu le enseñó otra cosa: las contradicciones de la democracia, la independencia, la autodeterminación y la libertad tal como se practicaban en Estados Unidos y se proclamaban para Puerto Rico.
Descriptive study on digital content copyright ownership(2018)
Combining copyright law, higher education policy and practices, and educational technologies, this doctoral dissertation examines the perceptions of faculty and administrators at higher education institutions on copyright ownership of faculty-created digital course content. The central question for this study was: Who had copyright ownership rights of faculty-created digital content, and in what manner was copyright ownership developed, implemented, and asserted at higher education institutions?
